Broadcast Productions Geneva Director

Profile - Sarah Cocker

Former CNBC anchor Sarah Cocker is now managing Broadcast Productions operations in Geneva.

Sarah has extensive experience interviewing senior management and major business and political leaders; the former CEO of GE, Jack Welch, saw her as a ''trusted source'' based on her ability to anchor and self-produce her own scripts and interviews.

Sarah has worked for the BBC media training department coaching new presenters and guiding professionals on enhancing their public speaking performance. She is also regularly seconded to companies to advise senior management on highly sensitive media interviews.

Working for Sky News and CBC, she wrote and presented European market news for a global audience.

Prior to her career in business journalism Sarah worked for the French Investment Bank, Banque Paribas. Her roles for the bank included running a successful equity sales desk as well as being an equity analyst in both the leisure and pharmaceutical sectors.

Sarah has a solid background in finance having studied Economics at City University.

Combining Sarah’s business acumen and journalistic pedigree with our production expertise, Broadcast Productions is well positioned to guide Swiss-based organisations on how best to communicate their product offering to a global audience.

Switzerland

More than the Skiing

Over the past year a wave of companies have announced plans to move to Switzerland and not just for tax purposes.

Baker & McKenzie estimate the trend will continue as Switzerland's attractiveness as a corporate location goes beyond tax to include easy and efficient transport, a high quality of life high and well-trained staff.

Broadcast Productions works closely with the Geneva-based Global Hotel Alliance producing a range of films for them and running their global e-Learning programme. Offering the same services to other Geneva-based organisations is a natural next step for the business.
